I’m a Registered Massage Therapist in Alfred Ontario. I do in home Massage Therapy for the Alfred, Rockland, Ottawa and surrounding areas. I offer pregnancy massage, also known as prenatal massage, including high risk pregnancy massage, postpartum massage, therapeutic massage, and relaxation massage. The treatments that I offer vary greatly. This website is to help you understand what massage can offer you, to help you deal with different conditions and to help out with common aches and pains that we all experience one time or another in our lives.
To accomplish this I use different forms of massage, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, relaxing massage, scar tissue massage and myofascial release techniques. There are times when I will use all of these forms of massage during a treatment, in other massages I may only use one, especially in a relaxation massage.
To add onto my repertoire I am also a Certified Infant Massage Teacher. I will be offering classes to teach parents how to massage their babies. This will help parents feel more confident in their own abilities to being a good parent, and help their baby who could be suffering from common ailments.
